I can't run windows xp anymore

You might not be dual booting but follow the instrutions anyway

I had this problem, it was caused by a glitch on my hard
drive. The hard drive would not be listed in bios. Try
holding down f8 and try booting into safe mode if
successful then system restore to an earlier point then
run scan disk. I found I needed to use norton disk doctor
to fix the hard drive.
