NTVDM CPU
Posted by Coltrad on April 25th, 2005

I'm not sure if this is even in the right section...When we try to open
Outlook Express on an XPPro machine we get the following errors:
NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction. There are 2 options:
Close or Ignore. If we choose Ignore--we get the same message 3 more times
(choosing the ignore option). After the fourth message--the printer (HP PSC
2110 All-in-one)attached to this computer starts cycling all of the paper
through. The printer does not stop until the job is manually cancelled.
Our "Sytems" person said that "Outlook Express is broken and we have to use
Outlook"....My question: How do we "unbreak" Outlook Express???
