- Partitions not visible to Windows XP
- Posted by EltonRon on March 23rd, 2007
After being stuck in a repeated loop while attempting to boot up windows xp,
I stupidly ran the fixboot utility, only to later to discover a warning on
the windows support site that running fixboot while experiencing a hardware
or software problem could result in your partitions becoming inaccessible.
It apparently created a new boot record, but now my nothing appears on my
hard drive at all. Is there any hope for me, or is jumping off a high cliff
the only answer?
