Can anyone log onto your computer when you have a
password on it? i.e. somehow perfom something where it
sounded like they forgot password?

These virus people are very creative. A password search
virus is probably possible. If they can get into your
address book and send messages to your friends ...
searching for word password would be easy. I keep all
passwords on my paper phonebook.

There are tools that can crack the password.
If you have any profile without a password someone can log in.
If the Default Administrator, normally visible only in Safe Mode, does
not have a password, that is another common access point.

I can get into your computer within seconds regardless the password if
you give me unrestricted access.
There is no security without physical security.
