- Problem upgrading Windows XP Home Ed to Professional
- Posted by david on August 19th, 2003
I upgraded my Op Sys. from Winows Xp Home Ed to
Professional. Now I cannot connect to the internet
(dialup). My ISP does not recognize my modem. The MS fax
software works OK. However, my other phone/voicemail and
ISP indicates that no modem has been installed. Everything
worked fine with Windows XP Home Ed...Has anyone run into
this problem and have a solution?
Hardware
Dell dimension 4100 (Pent. III)
Modem: Conexant RTAD V90 PCI Modem
