Problems creating dvd that can be viewed correctly on TV
Posted by Janet on November 17th, 2007

I have Windows XP SP2 Media Center, Photoshop Elements 5 on a Dell inspiron
6000 which came with Sonic Digital Media software to burn DVDs....
I've created a slideshow in PSE , saved it as a .wmv file pulled it into
Sonic, created and burned the dvd. If I play back the dvd in my computer,
everything is fine. But if I play it back through my dvd player on my TV the
pictures are cut off --- left side and bottom, which is of course where I
added text when creating the slide show. It helps a little to make sure the
TV is set to 4:3 not Extended 4:3, but it's only a marginal improvement.
I've tried different TV/dvd player combinations, but not a wide screen tv,
and none of them work. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.
Please Help!
