- Quick Launch
- Posted by dama1 on April 28th, 2008
The Help & Support Center advises to add icons to quick launch by draging
them from "My Computer" or "Windows Explorer". Unfortunately, I couldn't find
the IE "Blue E" or the OE "Envelope" anywhere in those two locations. They're
in the Start Menu, but they won't drag and drop from there (there's a black
circle with a slash through it over the icon when this is attempted). The
answer is probably easy, but I'm stumped. Thanks for any help.

Try dragging them again. The Cannot move will go away after you drag them
apast the menu bar and you should be able to then drop them in the quick
launch bar

Thanks, it worked! Makes me wonder if Bill Gates designed it that way just to
drive people nuts .....
