- Registry and Task Manager will not stay open
- Posted by Frank on September 5th, 2003
When I open the Registry or Task Manager they close right
away. I do not have time to click anything or punch any
keys. I do not want to reinstall Windows but I can not
figure out what is going on. Any suggestions?
Thanks,

w32.spybot worm disables NAV, Msconfig, Regedit and Task Manager:

Try this to:

Rename regedit.exe to regedit.com then:
Download then Merge the edit on line 251 then delete all the files mentioned
in the above link.
