My friend is using AOL dial up internet service. The ISP
dials and connects to the internet, and immediately
disconnects. A message appears "AOL has detected an error
with your connection to the internet. Please exit the AOL
software, restart your compiter, and then sign on again."

The AOL technition had me go to Control Panel and the
Remote Access Connection Manager. The message ssaid "Error
5 Access Denied" Then I was told I had to call Microsoft
to get info on how to fix it. So here I am. Can anybody
help me.

Could not start the Remote Access Connection Manager service on Local
Computer.
Error 5: Access is denied
