An automatic update which was downloaded has failed to install. Information
given is Error Code 0x643, Product: Windows XP, Source: Microsoft Update,
Date: Tuesday, May 9, 2006, Update: Security Update for Flash Player
(KB913433).
I checked the discussion group and found several enquiries about the same
thing. I tried one of the recommendations; i.e., to download direct but this
failed as well with the message "The version of Macromedia Flash you have
installed does not match the update you are trying to install".
Can you help me to carry through with this download and install it? I
presume it will remain on the right side of the Taskbar until the issue is
resolved.
I have a Dell Dimension 4100 Desktop computer with Windows XP - Home Edition
operating system.
