- shortcut key problems
- Posted by John on September 12th, 2003
OK, with the number of posts on here I doubt I will get a
response, but here goes.
I made a hotkey for a shortcut on my desktop. The
shortcut pointed to a file I had elsewhere. The key
combination was Ctrl-Alt-S. I deleted the shortcut and
then recreated it. When I try to give it the old hotkey
of Ctrl-Alt-S, Windows resets the shortcut key back to
None. I guess Windows thinks that Ctrl-Alt-S is still in
use. How do I clear my hotkeys and/or fix this one
specifically?
If whoever answers would email me the reply that would be
great. jdfurlong@yahoo.com

Sorry, I just figured it out. I just needed to press "S"
instead of "Ctrl-Alt-S" when setting the shortcut key.
Sorry for the spam.
