SO MANY PROBLEMS
Posted by Jeff K on July 17th, 2003

First off, i am a programmer. I often fiddle with my
computer's settings but not too much as it isn't mine.

Problem number 1: Disk drive doesn't work. I don't know
why it doesn't, it just doesn't.

Problem number 2: I cannot double-click on any video
media and open the program in my computer. It says
something about quartz.dll and qasf.dll which comes to my
next problem

Problem number 3: I cannot uninstall the DirectX 9.0 SDK.
I have tried numerous times and it doesn't work. I can't
install it(overwrite) or even install the 9.0a update.
When uninstalling it stops at qasf.dll and then says it
can't be copied.

SOMEONE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!

I fixed the disk drive. Your right it was a hardware
problem.

As to the second and third problem, more and more it
seems like the DirectX 9.0 SDK is the problem. I have
looked around and every time it has happened, they had
the SDK installed. I guess i will have to complain.
