my friend has a gateway pc about 6 yrs old have not been scanned in that
lenght of time either.i was helping him clean it out came across a trojan
horse.his pc only have 256 ram, any way we cannot open his control panel or
enable windows update.a trojan would cause these kinds of problems correct.if
we are lucky enough to take this pest off would this stop that problem,if not
what route should we take.we scanned with spybot s&d,AVG 7.5,spyware dr.
advance windows carev2,when i left last nite his pc was running fine expect
for he still could not open ctrl. panel or enable win.auto up date.ibelieve
he got infected from this music sharing an dwn load site.
