I used outlook express with Wind ME. Now I use XP and I
cant get some of my attachments. OE blocks them. What can
I do in order to receive them the way I did before?

Open OE, go to Tools, select Options, go to the Security tab, remove the
check from "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that potentially
may be a virus," click apply and ok. NOTE: before opening any attachment
you should always use your antivirus software to scan it first. This
usually requires saving it to some folder. Better to be safe than sorry and
you should realize most viruses are received from friends and people we know
as that is how they propagate.

Someone unwittingly opens the attachment and the virus then is programmed to
send itself to everyone in the person's address book.
