I made a mistake downloading a wallpaper. I found the same wallpaper at a
different web site and downloaded it with no problem. The original wallpaper
is stuck down in the lower right corner and I can't get rid of it. Help.
Keep in mind that I am a computer dummy. Larry Peckham

Not sure how you got a wallpaper stuck in a corner of the desktop so can
only make broad suggestions....

Right click the desktop and select Properties. On the screen that appears,
go to the Desktop page. Here you can select what wallpaper you want to use.
Don't change anything here yet. You can always come back to it. Click the
Customize Desktop button located on this same page.

A new screen will appear. Click the Web tab. My guess is that you will see
the new wallpaper listed here. Remove the check next to it and click OK. If
you do not use any web items on your desktop, uncheck or delete any other
unwanted items listed here. NOTE: "My current home page" is the only
default item in this location so you probably *don't* want to delete that -
leave it there. This item normally does not have a check next to it unless
the user has added web content to their desktop.

Check the desktop to see how the wallpaper situation is. Then, if
necessary, go back to the Desktop page to select your preferred wallpaper.
