I am getting the message "Windows cannot access the
specified device path or file. You may not have
appropriate permission to access the item."

I get this message whenever I try to run a program.
However, if I click on a word document brought up by
explorer, MS Word runs. If I click on a .jpg file, my
picture program runs. But I can't get programs to run by
trying to start them.
