- RDP session drops when connected wireless
- Posted by craft on January 21st, 2006
We are running RDP sessions to a wireless connected laptop to our network
(LAN only, we don't rdp outside LAN). After a very short time the connection
gets dropped and cannot be reestablished. The wireless laptop cannot be
pinged either. Someone have to log in directly to laptop to reconnect to
network. I have researched this at Linksys and made the changes they
suggested but had no effect. I also tried VNC and it never got dropped off,
it only happens via RDP.
If someone have a suggestion how to fix this, would be appreciated.
Thanks
