When my friend request RA via messenger everthing works properly for 5
seconds then quits out of RA and back to the desktop.
He allows me in. I request "take control", he pushes "ok". I have control
for approx. 5 seconds then it bails out.
Anybody have a clue to whats going on? My computer works fine with other
computers with RA.
My computer is

some sort of wireless dish internet connection. It's aimed at a master dish
several miles away.

It's not you - it's his Internet Connection.
The delay (latency) in his internet connection is likely too high to
maintain the connection.

That was my first idea. However, he plays online video games alot and has low
ping times. We also us VOIP (skype) and it works great. Is Remote
Assistance that sensitive? .

Possibly. It's not as sensitive (to my knowledge) as something such as
VPN - where the timing is pretty precise - but I would bet it plays a part.
In any case - it's not your end.. it's theirs.
