- Remote Desktop Connection
- Posted by Al on November 3rd, 2005
TI have two computers in different rooms. My new computer is a Pentium4
running WinXP SP2 with DSL. My other maching is a Pentium3 running WinME.
They are connected with an ethernet cable at !00MBps. The machines share
printers. I wish to operate the ME machine from my XP machine using Remote
Desktop. I installed the remote desktop into the ME machine using the XP CD,
and there were no problems. When I try to connect, I get an error message "
The client cannot connect to the remote computer".
Help (pretty please). What do I do next?

Windows Me can only act as a RDP client. I recommend using UltraVNC as an alternative.

Thank You, I will try the UltraVNC. I had a feeling that the ME machine was
limited.
