- remote desktop problem
- Posted by Geom on April 2nd, 2006
Hi!
I'm trying to use remote desktop. In fact, it works only between the
computers of my home network, but when I try to use remote desktop from a
school computer (using XP), to control my home computer (MCE), I get an error
message, something like: Can't find or can't connect to the computer, the
computer is may be too busy.
thanks for help!

Call the home PC using the public IP of the PC or if its behind a
firewall/router you also need to forward/open TCP Port 3389... See this page
for further help...
