Remote Desktop - Vista Home to XP Pro - Local Printers Problem
Posted by PB on June 23rd, 2008

Does Remote Desktop require the same Operating System? AKA Same Print
Drivers?

We have a XP Pro computer at work (RD Server). We are trying to
connect to it via RD using a Vista Home Computer. The Vista Home
Computer has the Printer Shared. It also has the checkbox checked for
Mapping the Local Printers. We can print locally, but it does not
Map on the RD session, it doesn't even show up.

Thanks in advance!
