This is a little hard to explain...
This seems to happen to computers that have Offline Files Enabled "Windows
Explorer\Tools\Folder Options, the Offline Files tab".
They likely have synchronization setup also.
They have likely been on the network for a while.
They have a drive "P" that's mapped to the network, and it has three
folders.
At some point they'll call and say the can't access a file they need off the
"P" drive.
I go and look and all that shows is, maybe one folder and it may have a
subfolder, and there is likely no files that show.
I do a refresh "F5" nothing else shows up.
Basically I have to have the person Shutdown and Restart their computer and
then everything is there for them to use. All the folders and files.
Can someone point me if a direction that would keep this from happening?
Windows XP SP2.
Domain environment.
Thanks
